The December newsletter from the Centre for Sustainable Curating highlights the major new project Objects as Temporal Entities. Developed by the Centre for Sustainable Curating in collaboration with the Synthetic Collective at LUMA Arles, the project asks “How can we ensure sustainability throughout the long lives of artworks?” by examining the making, storage, and conservation of art. Part of the Sustainable Institution (TSI) residency, Objects as Temporal Entities explores how the dynamic materials of artworks evolve, change, and degrade over time.
