Waste Legacies

This ongoing project considers the long-term legacies of waste and asks: How are hazardous materials, especially those with exceptionally long lives, collected and stored by museums?  

The first project in the series investigates the unexpected crash of the nuclear-powered Soviet satellite Cosmos 954.
